IGR (Interessengemeinschaft Regelwerke Technik e. V.) is an association of various companies in the process industry and their service providers. Its mission is to maintain, share and further cultivate the know-how developed over 130 years in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Knowledge is the only asset that grows when it is shared!
Marie Freifrau von Ebner-Eschenbach (1830–1916)
Today, around 350 experts from over 30 companies with a total of almost 30,000 employees are committed to sustainable knowledge management and active development of industrial practices. Each member shares in the work and receives all results and deliverables.
Legal requirements are in a state of constant change, growing increasingly complex. Companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries must keep a host of technical codes and standards, regulations and laws in view. On behalf of them and their services providers, IGR brings together experts and decision-makers from planning, manufacturing and engineering.
Benefit from networked knowledge and practice-focused tools. Membership is worthwhile for companies of all sizes. Membership fees depend on the number of employees.
Interessengemeinschaft Regelwerke Technik (Industrial Practices Interest Group) (IGR) e.V. was founded at Industriepark Höchst in 2007. Its mission is to maintain and share the know-how developed over 130 years in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and work together to further cultivate it.
The activities of IGR experts extend far beyond IGR project groups and task forces. IGR experts also engage in technological and engineering committees and associations. Their activities are aimed at mutual transfer of knowledge and experience.
At the core of the IGR are its four centres of competence (CoC) in Mechanical & Process Engineering, Materials Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering and Process Safety.
